About Us

Tipperary.com is an initiative of the county’s Economic Working Group - a sub committee of the North Tipperary County Development Board who’s role is to promote co-operation and co-ordination among the public service agencies in the county.  Membership of the Economic Working Group includes representatives from all business support agencies operating in North Tipperary such as North Tipperary County Council, Tipperary North County Enterprise Board, Enterprise Ireland, Shannon Development, the Industrial Development Authority, LIT Tipperary, FAS/SOLAS, North Tipperary Vocational Education Committee and the North Tipperary Leader Partnership. 

The site has been designed to promote economic activity and will act as the first point of contact for individuals looking for information about living, visiting or setting up a business/making an investment in the County.  Reference points, contact details and web links have been provided on the site to enable the user navigate easily around the various sections and get the information they need.  A chart has been provided for the potential entrepreneur (in the Funding Opportunities section) to help short circuit their search for relevant data.
