North Tipperary is at the heart of of Ireland's dynamic economy. Located in the centre of the country with borders to 7 surrounding counties, it is diverse in demographic and geographical features. The county has a mix of urban and rural conurbations, attractive and varied natural landscape, a rich cultural heritage, and excellent access by road and rail. From a tourism perspective it is an ideal base for exploring Tipperary and surrounding counties and there are is plenty of choice in accommodation, great restaurants,  an abundance of places to go and things to do.

Its strategic location means it is within easy reach of all the major population centres and access points  into and out of the country.
