Open all year, Django's is an owner run, modern, comfortable, budget, purpose built, 33 bed hostel. A Green Hospitality Program member we opened in 2011 and are uniquely located in Ireland's only ecovillage in Cloughjordan in County Tipperary.

In a relaxed friendly atmosphere Django's Hostel in Cloughjordan in County Tipperary caters for groups, families and individual travelers.
We have private single, double/twin & family rooms as well as shared 6 bed dorms.There are 11 rooms altogether catering for up to 40 guests. All our rooms are en-suite and supplied with bed linen.
We provide a simple self service breakfast [tea/coffee/toast & jams] and there is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen for guest use. On request full meals can be organised for groups.
There is a relaxing common room and free Wi-Fi.
We have free parking, wheelchair accessIble rooms and we welcome responsible pet owners in our dog friendly room. There is no curfew!

Of local interest is the ecovillage itself in Cloughjordan. You won't want to miss the ecovillage tours guided by a resident taking place every Saturday and Sunday. You can also arrange for group tours and presentations by appointment. You will learn about the environmental and ecological philosophy of our eco-neighbourhood and our community's creation of a model of sustainable living and it's desire to encourage others to follow this example.
Cloughjordan also boasts a rich heritage including the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Museum which is well worth a visit. Thomas MacDonagh came from Cloughjordan in County Tipperary and is one of the executed leaders of the 1916 Rebellion and a signatory of the Irish Proclamation.

Cloughjordan offers a feast for all your senses, you can SEE our community organic farm with it's working horses, TASTE the local Tipperary produce and our village baker's award winning bread, HEAR our local musicians in the pubs on our doorstep and even the best international musicians at the annual Cloughtoberfest [Ireland's only festival of Gypsy Jazz], and SMELL the coffee in our local bookshop. You will also want to visit our local galleries & craft shops.

Close by you'll find Bike Park Ireland with it's state of the art downhill trails for all ability levels.There are a number of local mapped cycleways and bikes can be hired locally.
Along with local forest and other walks you can follow in the path of history along Ireland's longest walk, the Beara Breifne Way. This walk passes through the ecovillage where Django's is the ideal overnight stop. The walk generally follows in the 17th century footsteps of the Irish chieftain O'Sullivan-Beara and his troops retreating to Leitrim after defeat in the battle of Kinsale.

For more history Tipperary has a wealth of castles and abbeys close to us are Birr Castle, Nenagh Castle, Portumna Castle, Holycross Abbey and a little further afield is the Rock of Cashel, Ormond
Castle and Cahir Castle and many many more, all part of Ireland's Ancient East.

For fishing & sailing scenic Lough Derg Lakelands on the Shannon is closeby.
